The sun is stronger on the water. Bring sunscreen and bug spray just in case.
It's always colder on the water, even on sunny days. Dressing in layers is smart.
Polarized sunglasses are highly recommended to reduce glare and protect your eyes.
A small one for your food and drinks, and another to take your fish fillets home in.
Weather can change quickly. It's always better to have it and not need it.
Bring any snacks and beverages you'll want for the day. Water is essential.
